23-24 January 2018

Jeremiah Horrocks Institute For Mathematics, Physics and Astronomy

University of Central Lancashire

Preston, United Kingdom

This workshop has been set up to address the demand for instruction in processing data with CASA, particularly ALMA data.  The workshop is primarily aimed at people from the University of Central Lancashire, but people from other institutions can also attend.

The workshop will primarily be focused on data processing.  The first day will include introductions to ALMA and radio interferometry, then include a hands-on tutorial with using the ALMA archive, and then delve into hands-on calibration.  The second day will continue with the calibration tutorial before advancing to imaging and post-processing analysis.
